People have different opinions on Detailing. Some see Detailing as an expensive car wash that’s unnecessary. Others see it as an important service that’s a necessity in their lives. No matter people’s opinion Detailing is one of the most widely used luxury services in America and for good reason.
With all the time we spend in our cars it makes logical sense to get a Detail and Detailer’s take great pride in making sure they do the best job possible.
But detailing is more than just getting your car cleaned. Detailing on the consumer’s end is about driving in comfort and supporting a local business. When you hire someone to detail your car not only are you getting your car thoroughly cleaned but you’re helping out the detailer by providing them with a job. Detailers work their butts off trying to find customers anywhere they can and by you hiring them it greatly helps them out.
Now time to answer the question directly. Is getting a detail worth it? The short answer is probably yes. Unless you’re willing to learn how to detail your own car, buy your own supplies, and do the hard work yourself then maybe it would be worth it to detail your own car. It really depends on how dirty your vehicle is and what it needs. If it is extremely dirty then let a professional take care of it and ditch the headache if it is moderately dirty and you think you can do it go for it! Now if you have the money and don’t want to spend the time I would advise getting a detail.
In order to make sure you’re getting a detail that is worth the money I highly recommend that you check the person’s online reviews and pricing. An average detail will cost you anywhere from $50 – $150 and the detailer should have at least a 3 star or higher rating on Google. After finding a few detailer’s who charge a reasonable price choose the one who you feel will do the best job and charges the best price. Look at pictures of there work online and the price that they charge. After that get on the phone with them and book an appointment.
